The reward for a long hike isn't necessarily a lovely lunch at one of our favorite osterias. ..it just worked out that way. Thankfully I was feeling good enough to walk straight uphill for 45 minutes before finding Steve and Peggy coming from the other direction. I had dropped Elva at our destination as she is healing her back today. One of the guests was a famous Italian actress...Belen? Rodriguez.( Jim, can you research and report?)..with her cohort of 20, as they were filming a movie across the street, and yours truly: ))). I didn't get any picture of her since we didn't want to appear to be groupies. Photos just show appetizers and desserts, we also had pastas and grappa..making the return walk pretty much a requirement.
